Christmas can make even the most basic space a comfortable , cozy , and love-filled section of the house. The lesson that I have gained over the years as a home decor stylist is that the most effective and least difficult thing you can change during the holiday season is something as simple as the curtains . The majority of the population believes that Christmas decoration is about the tree , ornaments , wreaths , and lights; however, I personally have witnessed firsthand that windows determine the mood. The right curtains would be able to transform your room into a magical Christmas without too much crowding of the room. When I decorated a Christmas-themed living room for a client, I was surprised when the atmosphere became dramatically different when we hung festive curtains . The furniture , lighting , and accessories had not changed... but the room still looked as though it were in a holiday magazine . Curtains have since become my major starting point...
